I'm a writer, educator, and passionate lover of the earth.  I'm married to beautiful, wonderful Cat, and she rocks my world.  I've been tutoring and consulting on learning issues for the last six years, but I feel my mission pulling me toward writing and giving workshops.  I have an MFA in Writing from CalArts, and have published a couple of short stories.  I'd love to be done with the novel I wrote back in graduate school seven years ago, finally put it out of my mind and start on something fresh.

I'm playing with the idea of creating a book on the role of metaphor and storytelling in community-building and social action.  I'm really excited about all the great discussions and people here on zaadz.
